Overview Animal activists and eco-activists have become surprisingly aggressive. Many have moved beyond debate and are taking action.
What makes individuals think they have the right to break laws, destroy private or public property, and to potentially bring harm to individuals?
Sometimes there are deliberate manipulations of myth and story (David and Goliath, etc.). Sometimes, there is an overwhelming sense of frustration, futility, and impotence, leading to suicidal despair. At other moments, the individuals seem to crave recognition by martyrdom.
These are controversial issues. What do you think?
