Since receiving her Ph.D. in English from The University of Oklahoma in 1996, Nash has received numerous awards for the interdisciplinary courses she has designed for online and onsite delivery. In addition, Nash has designed training and educational programs for use in developing the human resources of countries in South America (primarily Paraguay, Colombia, and Brazil) and in conjunction with U.S. Agency for International Development programs in countries of the former Soviet Union. The author of numerous articles and reviews, as well as novels, collections of short stories, essays, and poems, Nash has been translated into Spanish, Slovenian, Russian, Azeri, and French.
